Get the popcorn ready in the fully-equipped kitchen/diner or prepare a home-cooked meal to enjoy at the dining table. When the evening draws to a close, get ready for bed in the bathroom with walk-in shower and retire in either of the king-size bedrooms both furnished with storage to house your belongings. When you wake take advantage of the large garden that surrounds the cottage by going for a stroll with your morning coffee and soak up the panoramic countryside. Annie’s Place is on the outskirts of the quaint village Crossmaglen in the Northern Irish countryside and is the perfect base for keen walkers who are eager to explore it. The property also has wonderful views over Slieve Gullion tempting you to go out and explore this lovely part of the world. History is woven throughout the surrounding countryside, to brush on this local history head to Roche Castle ruins, Moyry Castle or Cu Chulainn’s Castle and admire the scenic surroundings of all three, there is also Country Museum Dundalk. Around 30 minutes away in Banbridge immerse yourself in the world of Game of Thrones on a studio tour. For an evening out the centre of Crossmaglen and visit the local bars and pubs or for a more vibrant night the busier town of Dundalk has a plethora of bars and restaurants to choose from. Just over an hour away you can reach the vibrante city of Dublin, famous for it’s Guiness brewery and Kilmainham Gaol, along with the warm welcome it is a great way to spend a day, and you can break up the journey visit the Neolithic (5,200 year old) Passage Tomb at Newgrange.
