    Cowbridge 3.2 miles․ Court Cottage is a charming retreat offering scenic views over manicured grounds and the picturesque countryside beyond, situated within the grounds of the historic Llansannor Court in Llansannor, Vale of Glamorgan․ With off-road parking for two or three cars and welcoming three well-behaved dogs, it’s perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a tranquil escape․ Upon entering the property, there is an entrance hall for hanging coats, shoes and wellington boots. Then you will be greeted by an inviting sitting room boasting sofas and an armchair, perfect for unwinding in front of the open log fire or the TV after an enjoyable day exploring. The sitting room is charmingly accented with exposed wooden beams and a stone fireplace, adding a touch of rustic charm to the cottage․ Adjacent to the sitting room, you will find a bright kitchen dining room, fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Here, you can gather around the dining table and enjoy home-cooked meals whilst discussing the day’s adventures․ One of the double bedrooms on the ground floor has majestic stone arched windows, a dark walnut parquet flooring and stone hearth to the fireplace to add to the historic feel of the building․ The ground floor hall has a tall gilt edge mirror to bring more light into the large space․ A handy cloakroom with a WC and basin completes the ground floor layout․ As you ascend the straight spindle stairs, you will find two additional well-presented double bedrooms leading off the semi galleried landing, boasting ample storage space․ The first double bedroom also features original stone pointed arch windows, framing breathtaking views of the mature and well established Llansannor Court gardens and the scenic Vale countryside in the background․ The second smaller double bedroom is equally as charming, with an original stone fireplace and a sizable window offering stunning elevated views․ There is a study area with desk and table on a secluded part of the landing for those wishing to do some quiet work․ In addition, there is a snug room offering a relaxing sofa for some quiet reading space or for an afternoon nap․ The family bathroom provides a fitted bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, providing a variety of options to prepare for your day․ Outside, there are 2 courtyards, one featuring artificial grass with nice views over the well manicured gardens of Llansannor Court. The second half of the courtyard is laid to gravel․ Be sure to venture beyond Llansannor, where a plethora of attractions awaits․ The historic market town of Cowbridge is less than 10 minutes drive which has a fantastic selection of cafes and restaurants, as well as boutique shops. For convenience, it also has a Waitrose and Tesco․ There are some fantastic gastropubs near by, the Hare and Hound at Aberthin, and the Fox at Penllyn are both less than 10 minutes drive from Llansannor and offer fantastic food and are lovely places to eat lunch or have an evening meal. There are a selection of great beaches nearby, sandy Southerdown Beach is a must visit, while Llantwit Major beach offers breathtaking views from the coastal path and amazing rock formations on the stoney beach․ Step back in time at St. Fagans National Museum of History, delve into the captivating world of coinage at The Royal Mint Experience, and soak up the natural beauty of the National Trust’s Dyffryn Gardens․ For outdoor enthusiasts, Bryngarw Country Park offers ample space for picnics, strolls and wildlife watching, whilst Wiggleys Fun Farm promises a fun-filled day out for the entire family․ Experience an authentic slice of Welsh history with a visit to A Welsh Coal Mining Experience, and marvel at the splendour of Fonmon Castle․ No matter how you choose to spend your time, a stay at Court Cottage will leave lasting memories of a truly fantastic Welsh escape․
