Located on the edge of the elegant Georgian town of of Burnham Market, Digger's Rest is a magnificent red brick double-fronted hideaway that has been stylishly furnished throughout. With private parking and an enclosed suntrap garden, this property is within an easy walk of the village amenities and restaurants, and a mere five minute drive to the nearest coastline. Or, if you enjoy a walk, the coastline can be reached within 40-minutes by foot. Forming part of St Ethelbert's Terrace, a row of spacious semi-detached cottages, Digger's Rest has been expertly refurbished and welcomes guests to feel instantly at ease. Offering a well-proportioned living environment, this hideaway features contemporary interiors that remain sympathetic to the surrounding tranquil setting. The ground floor comprises of an open-plan well-equipped kitchen/ dining area, with exquisite blue cabinets and a large table with seating for six guests. Guests will love gathering together to create lasting holiday memories in this social space. A thoughtfully appointed sitting room with ample comfortable seating has been curated to encourage shared time and conversation. From here, french doors open to the quintessential cottage garden. Conveniently located for rinsing off well-earned sand and mud, a walk-in shower is located on this floor. Upstairs there are three beautifully presented bedrooms; a dual aspect master bedroom with king-size bed, an further king-size bedroom, and a fun bunk bedroom. These rooms are served by good-sized family bathroom offering a separate bath and walk-in shower. Outside, the west facing garden is mostly laid to lawn with shrub borders. A charming patio area hosts outdoor dining furniture to a back drop of mature wisteria adorning the rear of the cottage. Being fully enclosed, this is a safe place for supervised children and dogs to play. Allocated parking for two cars is available in the shared parking area. Digger's Rest is a superb hideaway for families, couples, or friends at any time of year. The village of Burnham Market is ideally situated for exploring Norfolk on foot, by bus, or by car, and the village itself is home to a range of niche shops including a delicatessen, Tuscan farm shop, wine merchant, butcher, greengrocer, fishmonger, various beautiful boutiques and lifestyle shops, plus some outstanding places to dine. There are also hard tennis courts that can be booked, and a fine parish church. Catch the Coasthopper bus that stops on the village green to spend a day discovering the pretty Norfolk villages with breath-taking beaches dotted along the magnificent coastline.
