Fortune is one of six, two-bedroom country lodges located in the peaceful surroundings of Constable Country in Suffolk, in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The contemporary, eco-friendly self-catering lodges are just a short walk away from fantastic golf, spa, and dining facilities at the Stoke by Nayland Resort. The lodges are perfect for romantic escapes, cosy family and friends' reunions and golf and spa breaks. Spacious and bright, the large open-plan living area features floor-to-ceiling windows at one end, with patio doors leading out onto a large wooden balcony which enjoys views over the beautiful Suffolk countryside – just perfect for a leisurely breakfast, a spot of sunbathing or perhaps an evening cocktail or two as the sun goes down. The two large double bedrooms feature zip and link beds which can be joined together to make a super king-size, or are available as twin-bedded rooms. Bedroom one enjoys an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has use of the family bathroom. Up to ten lodges offering a total of 16 double bedrooms can also be booked together for much larger groups of up to 32 guests. These are all within a five minute drive of the nearby outstanding facilities at the family-owned Stoke by Nayland Resort. Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. On-site parking. Underfloor heating throughout. A welcome hamper will be provided (please note, this differs from our standard welcome hamper contents). Spa and two championship golf courses are accessible at the nearby Stoke by Nayland Resort, for which additional charges will apply. Two AA Rosette restaurant, bars, clubhouse restaurant, gift and golf shops, squash court, fishing, covered driving range and professional golf tuition are accessible at the nearby Stoke by Nayland Resort, for which additional charges will apply. Lodge guests receive complimentary pool access at the Stoke by Nayland Resort during free swimming times. Pre-booked 2-hour adult-only Spa Poolside Sessions with a reserved lounger, robe and towels are also available for £20 per person, providing access to the indoor heated swimming pool, sanarium, steam room and Jacuzzi. 2-hour slots must be booked in advance, one slot per person per night stayed 10:00am -12:00pm 12:00pm – 14:00pm 14:00pm – 16:00pm 16:00pm – 18:00pm Guests do not need to book in advance for the free sessions.
