    More Information

A super little cottage on a quiet country road within the pretty village of North Creake. Enjoying open views across the neighbouring fields, this hideaway is a few minutes' walk away from the local pub, with Burnham Market and the stunning North Norfolk coastline only a short drive away. Stylishly furnished, Lovely Cottage fits its name perfectly. The middle cottage in a row of three, this character property offers a peaceful getaway for a small family, a couple looking for a romantic escape or two or three friends who might like to spend their time walking, cycling or birdwatching – the location of the cottage is perfect for all of these activities, along with many more. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (king-size and single with trundle), which are reached by traditional Norfolk winder stairs (with handrail), which may be a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. The single bed with trundle can be converted into two singles or made up as a king size option, but this is really only suitable for one adult. On the ground floor, the sitting room is a lovely place to relax at the end of a busy day. Turn on the television, light the wood burning stove if you are chilly and enjoy supper 'at home' looking over the fields. In the summer, take a seat on the bench at the front of the cottage and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The south facing cottage garden, which is found over the lane, has a summerhouse and seating area – just perfect for a summer's day picnic lunch. If you feel like eating out, take a stroll down the village road and you will find a good meal at The Jolly Farmers. A short drive away is the award-winning Creake Abbey cafe and delicatessen which is open for most of the day. A farmers' market (nominated as "Norfolk's Food Market" in the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2015) is held here on the first Saturday of each month, and is very popular with both locals and holidaymakers. The village hall hosts "Cinema in the Creakes" – a monthly film night, when a glass of wine is included in the price! Additional Information Sorry, no pets.
