A secret little hideaway right in the heart of the maritime town of Wells-next-the-Sea, less than a minute's walk from some lovely shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Bursting with character, this sweet but well-equipped character cottage will give you a lovely taste of the Norfolk coast. Newgates Cottage, once part of The Chantry and dating back to the 17th century, still retains many of the original features, with latch doors and exposed beams throughout. Set over three floors, this charming mews style cottage offers comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to five people, and will appeal to families and friends who enjoy the convenience of being able to walk out of the door and find everything they need right on their doorstep. On the ground floor there is a good sized open-plan country style kitchen with adjoining dining area, and a handy shower room. The dual aspect spacious sitting room is on the first floor, along with a king-size bedroom and family bathroom. On the top floor is a triple bedroom with both a double and single bed. Outside there is a small sunny courtyard garden to enjoy. It's only a five minute walk to the quay where you can try a spot of crabbing. From here, stunning Wells beach in a further fifteen minute walk. This quaint and vibrant seaside town ticks lots of boxes and offers something for everyone at any time of year.
