    More Information

Ty Newydd, a fabulous, detached cottage enjoys a spectacular location just a stone’s throw from the beach and with views towards Ty Coch. Whilst resting close to the attractions of Morfa Neyfn, Ty Newydd makes a fantastic base for families or a group of six looking to escape normality and enjoy a relaxing break on the coast. The open-plan living area is filled with natural lighting, offering views all-around to remind you of this magnificent location. Kick back on the sofa, or make use of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare something tasty, whether it be a light afternoon snack or hearty family feast, there’s a range of appliances to ensure you’re covered. As you look to catch some rest, three delightful bedrooms await, including a super-king-size with zip/link beds, a king-size with en-suite shower and a twin. Whilst there is off-road parking for two cars please note the driveway is narrow and there is limited turning space. The driveway is therefore unsuitable for large vans, mini buses or large camper vans, it is fine for large SUV’s/4x4s. There’s also a bathroom and ground-floor shower room, so you won’t have to worry about queues in the morning, plus a handy utility room where you can do the washing! To the outside lies a private patio area where you can enjoy a refreshing drink whilst taking in the coastal breeze and admiring the sea views. The two mile long beach is the highlight of the village, boasting a sheltered bay and natural harbour on the Llyn Heritage Coast, it’s an extremely calming spot to base your escape to Wales. Stroll into the village centre where you can enjoy a picnic atop the sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, or choose to indulge in a delicious meal in one of the pubs or restaurants for a special occasion. Take in some local culture and history at the Llyn Maritime Museum before enjoying a portion of fish and chips as you stroll along the seafront. The Llyn Peninsula and Abersoch are a ‘mecca’ for watersports enthusiasts with opportunities for surfing, sailing, wakeboarding, powerboating and windsurfing, while there is also a stunning harbour beach and easy access to the archipelago of the Saint Tudwal’s Islands home to the St Tudwal’s Lighthouse and a bob of seals, providing a memorable day out. With so much to fill your holiday itinerary, plus this unique location to enjoy, Ty Newydd is a wonderful escape, at any time of year.
