    A former cow shed resting within the grounds of the impressive Raheengraney House, on the outskirts of the bustling village of Clonegal in Ireland’s County Wicklow. This all-ground-floor accommodation offers a wonderful base for exploring this region surrounded by majestic mountains and dramatic valleys, promising to be a tranquil retreat for families, friends and couples. Look forward to relaxing into your evening within the open-plan living room where you will find everything you could possibly need to enjoy a week-long break with your loved ones. This space boasts high vaulted ceilings, a refreshing colour palette and the patio doors flood natural light into the space. The well-equipped kitchen is certain to entice any budding chefs to cater a delicious evening meal for the whole family before you settle down to enjoy a sociable evening at the dining table as you tuck into your meal. After dinner, sink into the sofa and tune into the TV, whilst the woodburning stove fills the room with warmth during a winter’s evening. If you are visiting during the summer months however, look forward to throwing open the patio doors to spend time enjoying a spot of alfresco dining or a glass of wine as the evening draws to a close. Alternatively, relax in the sauna, after a long day’s walk on the Wicklow Way, or cycling the Nine Stones Cycle Route. The interior is completed by three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double with an en-suite shower and a king-size double bedroom which shares a Jack-and-Jill en-suite shower with a twin bedroom, ensuring a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of your group. For a day out in the local area, the villages of Clonegal, Shillelagh and Carnew are lovely places all withing 15 minutes drive and surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, oak forests and fantastic vistas. Alternatively, you can venture further afield to the majestic Wicklow Mountains or the cities of Dublin, Kilkenny or Waterford. The Lodge is a superb base for exploring this picturesque location.
