Criccieth is a firm favourite holiday destination. Once you have been here, you will return time after time. With its imposing castle, interesting shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, Cadwaladers’ ice cream and a chip shop reputed to be the best for miles and miles, it really does have something for everyone right on the doorstep. Close by there are so many things to do, with some of North Wales’ best attractions just a short drive away. Go paintballing, horse riding, surfing, golfing. Or if you prefer something more leisurely, simply take a walk along the coastal path. Ride through stunning scenery by steam train, or walk around the Italianate village of Portmeirion.
