Strumble Head is a great place for walking and watching the fabulous native and migrating wildlife such as seals, porpoises, dolphins and birds. Panteurig Farmhouse dates back to 1795 and is near a huge rocky outcrop called Garn Fawr, a Dark Sky site, just above Pwllderi in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. On a clear day you can see down to St Davids, over to the Preseli Hills and across to Ireland.
The nearby towns of Goodwick and Fishguard are about 10 minutes by car and offer individual shops, restaurants and pubs.
St Davids with its magnificent cathedral and Newport with its lovely beaches, are both well worth visiting and are each within a half hour drive.
If you enjoy walking, a bridleway/footpath leads from the Farmhouse to the 186-mile-long Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Alternatively, the seasonal coastal bus service passes the end of the lane if you prefer to walk a different stretch.
