    More Information

Situated on a quiet country lane, close to Abermawr beach in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this 200-year-old, traditionally furnished cottage makes an ideal base for a walking, cycling or relaxing holiday.
Nearby is the spectacular coastal headland of Strumble Head, where you can watch the wild ponies on the rugged headland or spot porpoises in the bay. The coastal bus passes the cottage and is a ‘hail and ride’ service which enables you to visit the many coves and bays along this stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and walk a different section each day. Fishguard and St Davids are within a few miles and each have a good selection of restaurants and shops. Other places to add to your ‘must visit’ list while in the area are Porthgain, Abereiddy, the Blue Lagoon, Solva and Newport.
Melin Tregwynt woollen mill, famous for its fabulous blankets, throws and unique handbags, is a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. The mill also has a lovely restaurant/cafe where you can enjoy local food and sometimes entertainment on summer weekends.
