    More Information

This pretty pink washed cottage is in the old fishing village and harbour of Lower Town, Fishguard.
The cottage is just a short walk from the quayside and slipway, where children often gather with their buckets and crab-lines. There are fishing trips for those who wish to catch their supper or you can listen to the Fishermen’s tales of “the one that got away” in the Ship Inn whilst enjoying a refreshment.
A walk up the steep hill leads into Fishguard town which has a selection of pubs, eateries, shops and galleries. A little further afield are Newport, St Davids, Porthgain, and Strumble Head each with its own charm.
The cottage is perfect for walkers (the coastal bus passes through Lower Town) and it’s close to the stunningly spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Gwaun Valley.
If you are bringing your dog, at low tide the harbour has plenty of space for them to enjoy as does the coast path and the local Marine Walk which starts at Lower Town and leads round the headland to Goodwick.
