This beautiful house has been finished to a very high standard, with typical Victorian high ceilings, bay windows and original features. Coupled with a wood-burning stove, it’s both cosy and elegant. A lovely mile and a half walk downhill takes you to Bowness-on-Windermere, the sophisticated lakeshore village, nestling on the eastern shore of Lake Windermere and alive cruises, boat hire, and more fabulous restaurants, bars and shops. There is a bus back if you need one! The house has been tastefully finished by the owners to a very high standard and has been well thought out with little touches here and there to make your stay very special. As well as all the attention to detail inside, there is a private courtyard garden with table & chairs, for outdoor eating al fresco. Couples, families or groups of friends will find plenty of evening venues to explore and families can take their pick from a range of attractions in Bowness; mini golf on the Glebe, the famous World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, the Royalty Cinema and the Old Laundry Theatre.
