Damsons grow in numerous orchards right across the Lyth Valley and have for generations been used to make damson gin – hence the name Tipsy Gin Cottage. The mother of the current owners was one such distiller, who each autumn used a special family recipe to make the rather potent spirit. Today, Tipsy Gin Cottage is a luxurious cottage with bags of character and charm and that is a popular retreat for couples wanting to soak up the beautiful countryside that surrounds it.
