This interesting stone cottage was created from the Eastern section of St Anne’s Church. The church, an historically important building, was built in 1812. It is believed that a chapel occupied the site from the 1550s. This area of Ambleside will tempt you to explore its characterful lanes and original buildings which are steeped in history. Alternatively, you can head out on many peaceful, scenic walks through the spectacular Lakeland countryside from your doorstep. After you have parked in your private space, take a few moments to admire the stunning arched windows along the side of the property.
