Holly Cottage is a lovely three-bedroom holiday home, spread over two floors, in the attractive small town of Ambleside which is situated in the Lake District National Park. Set out on foot from your doorstep to experience some of the most spectacular walks in the National Park but beware, you will have a tough job narrowing down the list!
Tour the area by car to discover charming villages and hamlets, sparkling lakes and dramatic valleys. Take a short bus ride to the Visitors Centre at Brockhole for and exciting tree top adventure and zip wire, enjoy a drink on the terrace then take a cruise along beautiful Lake Windermere back to Waterhead at Ambleside.
Stroll downhill to the town centre for a little retail therapy in the independent shops and have a bite to eat in one of the many superb restaurants, cafes and pubs.
