Beaumaris Castle is also just a short drive away, a 13th Century Castle and known as the greatest castle that was never built, steeped in history and an architectural masterpiece, it even has its own dock. The National Trust – Plas Newydd House and Gardens is a short drive away, built in 1470, where you can take a stroll through the colourful gardens and marvel at the beautiful views over Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) and the Menai Strait.
