You are greeted by an off-road parking spot for one car, before you take a few steps down to the entrance of your home-style lodge. The inviting open-plan living space boasts a contemporary kitchen, a large corner sofa surrounding the television, and a dining table for all guests to enjoy an evening meal together. When the evening draws to a close, retire to one of the bedrooms; a double (with Emma mattress) and a twin, to allow for flexible sleeping arrangements. The bedrooms are complimented by a shower room where guests can fresh up after a long day in this beautiful area. The village of Roch offers a convenience store for any self-catering essentials, an idyllic church and a pub with its own microbrewery serving good food and amazing ales just a two minute drive away. From Saltwater you can enjoy some magnificent walking and cycling trails around the National Park or head to one of the stunning sandy beaches for a more relaxing day. Find Newgale beach just a five minute drive away, with its miles of sandy beach, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing opportunities. Just a short drive away is the market town of Haverfordwest which has a train station, a golf course, a good range of bars and eateries to entice everyone, a striking 11th century castle, the ruins of an ancient priory, interesting museums and lovely walks along the River Cleddau. Whilst you’re in this magnificent area, be sure to take a trip into Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, where you can discover the 14th century gothic style palace, the 12th century cathedral or take a scenic boat tour. For a magical retreat to this part of South Wales, choose Saltwater as your base.
