Aberdaron 1.8 miles. Resting in the small village of Rhiw, on the Llŷn Peninsula, is this semi-detached cottage, Bwthyn Siop Pencaerau. With exposed bricks and beams, this stunning annex is a romantic dwelling for a coastal trip to this part of North Wales. The interior of the property has a traditional cottage feel with a woodburning stove taking centre stage in the living/dining room, along with a Smart TV, leather sofas and a dining table so guests can enjoy a romantic evening meal rustled up in the well-equipped kitchen. Moving upstairs there is a charming yellow bedroom with an exposed brick feature wall, storage so guests can unpack and a stylish en-suite shower room so you can get ready in style for an evening out or wash those sandy feet after a day at the beach. Outside there is off-road parking, and a delightful courtyard to the rear of the house with a hot tub and two sun loungers so you can spend a romantic evening under the stars, as well as a front patio so you can take your morning coffee into the fresh air. Just a short drive away is the gorgeous Porth Ysgo beach, whilst a little further you can explore the beach at Aberdaron, as well as the lovely Porth Simdde reserve and the shoreside 12th century church. In the opposite direction you can head into Rhiw which boasts a 4 mile sandy beach and Plas yn Rhiw, a 16th century National Trust manor house with surrounding gardens. A little further afar you can discover the coastal Castell Criccieth, head into Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) for an exciting day in the countryside, or take a thrill seeking adventure at Glasfryn Parc which is an activity centre hosting go karting, archery, watersports, bowling and much more.
