    More Information

Settled in the village of Stoney Middleton, Derbyshire in the Peak District National Park is 3 Royal Oak Mews. This charming stone-fronted cottage was once a pub and now benefits from off-road parking, four spacious bedrooms, private patio with barbecue and a homely open-plan living space welcoming up to eight guests. After exploring the wealth of surrounding attractions, climb the stairs to the first floor to unwind in the sitting room in front of the TV or whip up a hearty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen that the whole group can enjoy around the dining table. If the sun is shining, head down the stairs to delight in an alfresco affair on the decking or fire up the barbecue as the sun sets over the countryside. When yawning begins, wash away the day in the shower room before retiring to one of four well-appointed bedrooms; choose from a king-size on the ground-floor or descend to the lower-ground-floor to find a double with en-suite cloakroom, a double and a twin. Spend the days exploring the surrounding villages, pay a visit to the Eyam Boundary Stone to learn about Eyam’s sacrificial quarantine during the 1665 plague before travelling to its heart to explore the craft centre in the National Trust site of Eyam Hall and Eyam Museum. Outdoor enthusiasts can venture to the nearby Curbar and Baslow Edge, both hiking areas with panoramic views across the rolling countryside; travel further afield to climb Wardlow Hay Cop, Lord’s Seat or Parkhouse Hill. Families can traverse Chatsworth House with its expansive art collection, playground, farmyard and acres of stunning grounds or find the famed theme park of Alton Towers with a myriad of rides and attractions as well as a waterpark; a brilliant way to spend the day! Adventure awaits at 3 Royal Oak Mews.
