St Ives town centre, its beaches, shops and wonderful selection of restaurants, served by its working harbour with fresh sea food, is all just a short walk away, St Ives is a stunning Cornish traditional fishing village, surrounded by golden sandy beaches, around an arc shaped harbour with pretty cobbled streets filled with boutiques, cafes and art galleries, one of the largest is the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find a lot of its former residents work celebrated.
Carbis Bay can be reached either by the South West Coast Path, which heads towards Zenor in one direction and the Hayle Estuary in the other, this cliffside walk is a wonderful way to see the local wildlife, maybe even dolphins if you’re lucky, or via the scenic railway which runs along the coastline with breath-taking sea views all the way.
Carbis Bay Beach is a beautiful, secluded bay, it has achieved Blue Flag status for its azure-coloured waters which lap against its golden shores, its lifeguarded at peak times so ideal to try the water sports on offer.
