It’s contemporary open plan living area, consisting of a kitchen, dining and sitting area, which extends out to a first floor balcony, is flooded with natural light through the roof windows and balcony patio doors, making it bright and airy, this welcoming space is warmed by a wood burner positioned next to a large L shaped sofa, comfortably seating six, relax enjoying the entertainment on the large 50” television with DVD player, or open the patio doors and step out onto your private glass fronted balcony, with far reaching sea views of Godrevy Lighthouse and across the beautiful azure waters of Carbis Bay.
The dining area, within the living area, is conveniently placed next to the kitchen, ideal for socialising with the designated chef, a beautiful wooden crafted dining table with six matching chairs forms the centre piece, the contemporary kitchen area is lit by natural light through the roof window, offers high gloss units with Kashmir soft close doors, under counter down lighting, ample work surfaces, is well-appointed with everything you need for a week’s holiday.
A separate snug or kids playroom is located on the ground floor, full of fun features for the kids to escape, with a bean bag, smart television and direct access to the rear garden, so you can open up the doors on a sunny day,
All the bedrooms are on the ground floor too, the master king sized bedroom has a private en-suite with enclosed corner shower, located to the rear it enjoys garden views, the second double room and third twin room are front facing, both benefiting from beautiful views of the Cornish countryside, all rooms offer plenty of storage space for your holiday outfits, a family bathroom is close to all bedrooms, offering both a bath and shower giving you a refreshing choice, along with the first floor balcony, accessed from the living area through sliding glass patio door.
Outdoor space includes a rear patio and garden, this is reached via the side path or the door from the snug, a classic wooden picnic table with garden furniture is provided, perfect for dining alfresco and the enclosed space is ideal for the children or pets to play, there is an outdoor shower too for washing sandy paws or toes, a table tennis game and barbecue are stored in the garden shed.
Carbis Bay Beach is within walking distance, this secluded bay is watched over by lifeguards at peak times, ideal for catching a wave or paddle boarding, its crystal clear waters are Blue Flag awarded, take a magical walk along it’s golden sands to reach the South West Coast Path, this dramatic cliffside walk circles Cornwall’s coast, locally it heads towards Hayle and dog friendly Porthkidney beach in one direction and St Ives in the other, a great place to spot seals or dolphins if you’re lucky.
St Ives its self is surrounded by golden sandy beaches, this traditional Cornish fishing village, is dotted with pretty cottages, cobbled streets, and individual boutiques, cafes, restaurants and art galleries, the largest gallery’s is The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, where you’ll find one of the town’s former famous residents work is celebrated, after exploring reward yourself with a relaxing return to Carbis Bay on the scenic railway, it connects the surrounding area, hugging the coastline on one of the most picturesque rail journeys in the country.
Further afield, believe it or not Cornwall is famous for its rainforest, indoors of course, but the Eden Project near St Austell is a site to behold, Pendennis Castle in Falmouth is one of many of Cornwall’s historic landmarks, along with St Michaels Mount near Penzance, the jewel in Cornwall’s crown, a sight not to miss, and Land’s End of course, on your return from the last point in the country treat yourself to a night’s entertainment at the nearby Minack, set in the cliffs, it has one of the most dramatic settings for an open air theatre, a stunning setting for a romantic night out, feeding the animals at Paradise Park, in Hayle, is great fun or if you need to entertain older children, try the thrilling rides at Flambards Theme Park near Helston,
