Set out on the ground floor and sleeping two guests, The Old School Bike Shed is a pocket-size and welcoming setting for your next Central Scotland getaway, within easy reach of Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. A large shared driveway with The Old School greets you on arrival, with room to park up to two cars at the front of the property, before you step onto the patio where there is furniture and a BBQ to enjoy some outdoor dining whilst embracing the peacefulness of the area. As you step inside the delightful shed conversion, you are welcomed by a homely open plan living space with a cute dining room table for two, to enjoy breakfast whipped up in the kitchenette, a double bed with a Smart TV for the more relaxing evenings and two cosy chairs looking out on to the beautiful views, or space to play some board games by the fire. Stepping through the property, there is a large bathroom with a walk-in shower or choice to soak in the bath. Dykehead itself hosts the annual Doune The Rabbit Hole Music Festival and is on the edge of The Trossachs National Park which is home to Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond, Go Ape Adventure Park and Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, it is also just a short drive to the village of Aberfoyle which has a supermarket, restaurants, pubs, post office, and coffee shops. There is an 18 hole golf course here. Further afield you can drive to the bustling city of Glasgow or Stirling which has a golf club, a playground with a seasonal pool, a train station and ample shops, restaurants and bars, it is also the home to many historical landmarks like Cambuskenneth Abbey, the National Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.
