Both offer ample storage for your belongings with charming wooden furnishings and views out to the garden. In the morning, hang your towel on the shower room’s heated towel rail before stepping inside the spacious, walk-in shower. The centre of Middleham is close by for shops to stock up on the self-catering essentials, dine out at The Black Bull Middleham or browse the curious Country Cupboard Antiques; be sure to visit the marvellous Middleham Castle, the 12th-century remains of Richard III’s childhood home, with an exhibition centre and fantastic views of Wensleydale.
