The market town of Wadebridge is a car journey away, with its interesting independent shops, cinema, and restaurants, along with being the midpoint of the Camel Trail, a level cycle track built on a former railway line. Pay Port Isaac a visit; this historic and picturesque fishing village is a pleasure to spend a few hours, watching fishing boats unload lobster pots, and wander around narrow lanes in between tiny, whitewashed, former fishermen’s cottages.
