Pendragon House is a contemporary holiday cottage in Port Isaac, ideally situated between the old fishing harbour, and also the beach of Port Gaverne, both within an easy five minute walk. Offering stylish and contemporary accommodation, a particular feature of the property are the spectacular views that stretch out to sea. Pendragon House is the perfect getaway for a group of friends, or the whole family including a canine companion, looking for a coastal base from which to explore the North Cornwall coast.
Designed with the views in mind, the sociable living space is located on the first floor with sea views towards Tregardock from the sitting room and rural views over to Roscarrock Hill from the kitchen. Flooded with natural light, the first floor is the ultimate place to relax after a long day exploring the coast; sink down into one of the comfortable sofas in front of the open fire, or prepare a home cooked meal in the well-equipped custom-made, hand painted kitchen. The third bedroom and separate shower room are also situated on this floor, whilst the ground floor offers two generous sized bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and the other with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. All of the bedrooms have zip and link beds providing either super king-size beds, or two single beds for added flexibility.
Guests can enjoy a wealth of doorstep adventures from Pendragon House. Walk out onto Lobber Point and follow the South West Coast Path over the cliff tops towards Port Quin and the bays of Epphaven and Lundy – finishing up at ‘Fresh from the Sea’ café, just a stone’s throw from Pendragon House’s front door. Food lover’s will not be disappointed, with Nathan Outlaw’s Michelin Star restaurant just a short stroll away. Whilst there is so much to see and do by foot, further afield, the town of Wadebridge and the thriving village of Rock (8 miles) is well worth exploring, as are the popular beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock, with a foot ferry across to Padstow.
