Outside, take advantage of the furniture while sipping a glass of wine as the last of the summer sun sets. Enter Weymouth’s town centre, a seaside town with plenty of attractions to keep you busy! With its variety of marine life on display, the SEA LIFE Centre Weymouth is a great place to start, or you can explore Nothe Fort, Portland Castle, and Weymouth Harbour; there’s also plenty of lovely scenery to take in, so take a walk along the promenade or enjoy a picnic in the park. Dorchester is a historic town within easy driving distance of the property; the town is home to a number of attractions, including Borough Gardens, Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens, and the Dorset Museum, Maiden Castle, and National Trust – Hardy’s Cottage, for nature and wildlife lovers in your group. Dorchester is an excellent choice for a family day out. Mermaid House is a fabulous dwelling for a getaway with friends.
