For an alfresco affair, be sure to take advantage of the private patio on offer, perfect for those warmer months, before sloping off to sleep in one of two well-appointed bedrooms, including a king-size with TV and en-suite shower room, and a twin. The home is complete with a sleek bathroom, housing both a bath and a shower, and a cloakroom, offering plenty of space to prepare for your adventure. Once you’re ready to explore, be sure to tour Killin, where you can stock up on the essentials, dine out at the Killin Hotel or the Wee Heilan Bistro, practise your swing at Killin Golf Club, tour the remains of Finlarig Castle, hike around the stunning landscape of Falls of Dochart, follow the pathways around the breath-taking Loch Tay, summit Ben Lawers, or grab your walking gear for a lofty trek up Sron A’ Chlachain. If you can tear yourself away from the local area, traverse the national park, with Ben Vorlich a popular peak with outdoor enthusiasts, where you can spend the afternoon freshwater swimming or kayaking at Loch Earn, before travelling north towards Aberfeldy, firstly stopping off at Kenmore Beach; be sure to visit Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery for a guided tour and the chance to buy some locally produced whisky, before following the walking trails towards The Birks Of Aberfeldy.
