Lake Windermere is also accessible by car, enveloped by must-visit hotspots, including Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s former residence, whilst Claife Heights is the perfect challenge for avid hikers. Travelling towards Ambleside, enjoy leisurely strolls around Borrans Park and the stunning Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, whilst Wansfell Pike is a recommended walking route for those feeling energetic.
