When sleep calls, head upstairs to find three well-presented bedrooms, including two doubles and a twin, all serviced by a spacious bathroom. Once you’re ready to venture out, take advantage of your proximity to Hawkshead, dotted with convenience stores, pubs, restaurants, and local attractions. Within walking distance, you will find Beatrix Potter Gallery and Hawkshead, and The Fitzwilliam Gallery, recommended for those who enjoy history, art, and culture, whilst Esthwaite Water Trout Fishery, and Coniston Water are a short car journey away, ideal for trout fishing or the chance to kayak across the national park. Lake Windermere is also accessible by car, enveloped by must-visit hotspots, including Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s former residence, whilst Claife Heights is the perfect challenge for avid hikers. Travelling towards Ambleside, enjoy leisurely strolls around Borrans Park and the stunning Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, whilst Wansfell Pike is a recommended walking route for those feeling energetic.
