There is also a working Harris Tweed Mill at Carloway, the Harris Gin distillery and a short drive away are beaches at Dalmore and Uig Sands. To explore further afield there are ferries and boat trips from Tarbert and Stornoway and the delights of the Isle of Harris are less than an hour’s drive. A short drive from the property are the ferry terminals which serve the islands of Lewis and Harris.
