On balmy evenings, unwind in the large garden as you recount the day’s adventures and when the sky darkens, head inside and upstairs to the first floor. Kick back and relax in the sitting room, featuring exposed stonework, a crackling open-fire, and a TV for family film night. The first floor also hosts a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a zip/link twin and two bathrooms to freshen up for the day ahead. Back on the ground-floor, there are two delightful twin bedrooms (zip/link), a bunk bedroom, serviced by a shower room. The pretty village of Tudweiliog is home to the traditional Lion Hotel for pub grub and a Post Office to stock up on the essentials. A scenic drive will lead you to Porth Ysgaden; here you can paddle in the shallow waters and sunbathe on the shore or admire the views from Traeth Penrallt. Visit the nearby attractions for a day filled with fun, first make a stop at the 16th century National Trust – Plas yn Rhiw before venturing the Llŷn Peninsula AONB for splendid sights and wildlife. From here, head into the market town of Pwllheli, peppered with shops and restaurants to suit all budgets and a sweeping sandy beach to while away the hours.
