The open-plan sitting area is suitably inviting with a large L-shaped sofa just asking visitors to take a seat and start enjoying their holiday. The small but surprisingly well-equipped kitchen has all the facilities needed to produce delicious food for the whole party and the adjoining dining area is all set up ready for long, lazy meals together. Should the sun be shining, then there is a delightful outside patio area with table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining. As night falls, guests can make their way to bed, choosing from two king-size beds; both rooms are light and airy and provide a calming sanctuary. Waking up in the morning at Red Robin is a joy, with spectacular rural views to help motivate you and get you out and about exploring. The nearby village of Whepstead is incredibly pretty with a 17th century pub well worth popping into for a refreshing pint and bite to eat, and is within walking distance of the Italianate palace, Ickworth. Towns worth visiting while you’re in the area include Long Melford, Clare, Lavenham and of course, Bury St Edmunds, with days out recommended to the popular seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.
