Mousehole is ideal for a range of outdoor activities and water sports, a flat sea is ideal for paddling around St Clement’s Isle, where you may even spot a seal! Alternatively chose from an array of beaches or visit the fabled Land’s End, be sure to make stops at Lamorna Cove Beach, Porthcurno Beach, Porthgwarra Beach or Sennen Cove which has the longest running surf school in the UK. Amongst other great days out are the intriguing exhibits at Penlee House Gallery and Museum in Penzance, a swim in the Jubilee pool, taking in a performance at the Minack Theatre, visiting numerous National Trust properties and gardens, or exploring the many walks, beaches and sheltered coves. St Michael’s Mount is a tidal island in Mounts Bay, linked to the town of Marazion by granite setts, or by boat at high water, and is also well worth a visit.
