Pen Y Groes, a delightful, detached property, is easily found a short distance from the very pretty village of Berriew, Powys. This tastefully-presented cottage offers well-appointed interiors, and is superbly close to nearby amenities, making it the perfect getaway for couples, families and friends looking to escape to Mid Wales. Step into the cottage and be instantly welcomed by a charming characterful living room with ample seating on the Italian leather corner sofa with a woodburning stove housed in a traditional inglenook fireplace, from there find yourself in a traditional farmhouse style kitchen / diner, housing all the necessary amenities for a week away so you can cook up a storm before savouring your creations alfresco in the garden. Off the cosy lounge lies the first bedroom, on the ground-floor featuring a double bed, serviced by a shower room, ideal for guests with limited mobility on the first floor you can also find a family bathroom with a double ended bath, shower, basin and WC. Whisk away upstairs and discover the remaining bedrooms, including a spacious king-size, a twin / king-size bed, another double bedroom and reading or study space with workspace and sofa, all wonderfully presented. The well-maintained garden is a great spot to sit back with a glass of wine and reflect on the day, whilst there’s even a firepit and grill if you fancy a barbecue or toasting marshmallows on an open fire late into the night.
