Take a leisurely stroll towards the village of Helme which backs the property and stop for some refreshments at the Punchbowl Pub and Station Inn. When you’re ready to explore, a few miles north rests the vibrant market town of Kendal, filled with a selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as the Castle Museum home to a wealth of history and charming walks.
