More information

50 Sea Road is a welcoming ground-floor apartment resting in Milford-on-Sea, Hampshire, offering parking for two cars, an enclosed courtyard for alfresco moments, and a beach just a stone’s throw away. Arrive, park with ease, and let the pace shift as soon as you step through into the Mediterranean-style outdoor space; it’s a lovely spot for morning coffee while you map out the day, and just as tempting later on when the sky darkens and you linger over a glass of wine beneath the evening air. Inside, the open-plan living area brings everyone together, whether you’re returning from the shoreline with sandy shoes and sea-salted hair, or simply enjoying a slower day close to home. The fully fitted kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts to meals worth lingering over, while the dining table sits in easy view of the courtyard, encouraging long, unhurried catch-ups. When the day’s adventures are done, settle into the sitting area, switch on the feature electric fire for a gentle glow, and put a film on the Smart TV as plans for tomorrow begin to form. At bedtime, choose between two tastefully presented bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, ideal for a family break or friends sharing a seaside escape. With a bathroom offering a bath with shower over, plus an additional cloakroom, mornings can feel smooth and unhurried before you head out again. Step outside and Milford-on-Sea quickly becomes part of the holiday: shops and pubs are just a few minutes away, perfect for browsing, picking up treats, or sampling the local food scene on foot. The property is approximately 10-15 minute walk from Milford Village which is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and is a collection of 17th and 18th century buildings around a traditional village green. The village has many good restaurants, two pubs and a wine/tapas bar plus a butcher, baker and two general stores for all your essentials. Milford is also known for the excellent Mr Pinks fish and chips shop, and let us not forget the excellent tea rooms. Spend time along the coastline with views over the Solent, then look inland to the New Forest National Park for woodland walks and wide, open landscapes. The property is near to Sturt Pond Nature Reserve and Keyhaven Salt Marshes both of which are popular with bird watchers.  Hurst Spit starts just down the road and leads to Hurst Castle, originally build by Henry VIII and is now a museum. There is also a little ferry from Keyhaven to and from the Castle which makes a lovely outing. However you spend your days, 50 Sea Road in Milford-on-Sea, Hampshire sets you up beautifully for seaside living.
