A short drive away is the historic market town of Cardigan where you will find Cardigan Castle, where you can step back in time and delve into Welsh history in the birth place of the Eisteddfod in 1176. The Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cilgerran meanwhile offers an unforgettable day out for nature lovers, while the National Trust’s Cilgerran Castle and Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron provide fascinating excursions for the historians of the group.
