Downs View Retreat is situated on the quiet side of Whitecliff Bay with beautiful views over looking the countryside. The Holiday Park has two sides, with Hillway Road running between the two sides. On the right side of the road are the park facilities, pools, bar/restaurant etc and on the left side is Crosswinds, the quieter side, where you can enjoy peace and quiet and a great nights sleep. The town of Bembridge is half a mile away with a great selection of cafes, take-aways and restaurants.
The lodge is an ideal location for holidays all year round, a romantic Autumn/Winter break, centrally heated and well insulated, warm and snuggly, or a sunny summer vacation with the sun shining on the south facing patio from sunrise to sunset. Eat breakfast at the outdoor table and then sit in the hot tub basking in the warm sun, have a glass of wine and enjoy the views. The Park has a private beach which is dog friendly all year so you can enjoy a stroll and then follow the coast path to the top of Culver Downs, enjoy a meal and a drink in The Culver Inn looking down on the island, a fabulous view.
The Lodge is fitted out to a luxury spec, hot tub, comfy sofas, central heating, big kitchen, 3 TV’s. 2 of them Smart TV’s, your own personal WiFi, dishwasher, lots of cutlery, glasses and utensils, a real home from home.
