    More Information

Rosedale is a welcoming house resting in the village of Lelant, in Cornwall. Featuring a pool table, an enclosed garden, rural vistas and proximity to the pub, making it a lovely base for two couples, families or friends seeking a coastal escape. Park the car and make your way to the entrance of this charming stone Cornish abode. Enter into hall and feel the appeal inside, with nautical touches and homely furnishings. Make yourself at home in the kitchen with soothing blue fixtures and wooden countertops, store your treats in the fridge/freezer, then fire up the gas hob to create a mouthwatering dish, or utilise the oven to bake some Cornish pasties. Once plates are adorned, gather around the dining table with lights overhead in the living/dining room. This space is welcoming with artwork adorning the walls, warm wooden flooring, and a grandfather clock, tuck into your supper as you plan the days ahead. Once plates are cleared, pop them in the dishwasher to assist with the clean up, then toss a log onto the open fire and sink into the plush sofa as you flick on the mounted TV for entertainment for the evening. If you are feeling competitive, end the evening with a game of pool in the conservatory. Ascend the stairs to find a bathroom where you can soak your muscles in the bath after a long day of exploring the coast. Then choose from two double bedrooms to rest and rejuvenate. Both offer a window seat for some quiet time to reflect with views over the garden and distant river views. The master bedroom boasts a TV for those late-night movie nights and an en-suite with a rainfall shower. In the morning, sip a brew to the sound of birdsong in the enclosed garden, dine alfresco in the evening with the barbecue to hand or gaze at the stars, wash of the sand from a day at the beach in the outdoor shower. A trip to Cornwall would not be complete without out trip to the coast, head to the nearest beach Porth Kidney Sands which is only a 10 minute walk away or Hayle Sands which is a 5 minute drive. Feel the golden sand between your feet as you indulge in an ice cream or two. Head to St Uny Church for amazing views of local beaches. Animal lovers will love a trip to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, watch the adorable seals and sea lions at feeding time, with beavers, penguins and other animals also onsite. Admire the artwork at Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, with a garden to roam through, whilst the interior features drawings, photographs and documents preserved from 1975.
