More information

Glen Lochay Lodge is an impressive lodge set on the banks of the River Lochay in Killin, Stirling, featuring a private hot tub, off-road parking, and striking floor-to-ceiling windows that frame uninterrupted riverside views. Designed across a single storey, this property invites groups of up to six guests to enjoy a setting shaped by light, space and its connection to the surrounding landscape. Step inside and the open-plan living space forms the heart of the home, where a distinctive curved bay window draws the river into view from morning through to evening. Limestone floors run underfoot with underfloor heating throughout, and the seating area sits perfectly positioned for unwinding while watching the water flow past. The kitchen and dining area are set within the same space, offering everything needed to prepare and share meals while remaining part of the conversation. Three bedrooms branch off from this central hub, including two king-size rooms with TVs and a twin, alongside a family bathroom and an en-suite to the main bedroom. Outside, the garden opens directly towards the riverbank, where a private hot tub faces the water and provides a vantage point to take in the setting. A patio and lawn area allow for outdoor dining or a quiet moment at any time of day, with the constant movement of the river providing a natural backdrop. Killin lies within easy walking distance, offering access to shops, cafés and the Falls of Dochart, where powerful cascades create one of the area’s most recognisable sights. The shores of Loch Tay provide opportunities for waterside walks and scenic exploration, while Aberfeldy offers attractions such as The Birks of Aberfeldy and Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery. For further discovery, Callander opens the gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, where woodland trails and wide-ranging landscapes await. Glen Lochay Lodge offers a memorable base for discovering this part of Stirling.
