On arrival, parking is conveniently nearby, making it easy to settle in before taking in the open surroundings, where the natural setting and surrounding countryside create an easygoing first impression, with wildlife often wandering past, including ducks and peacocks on the grass and birds moving through the trees overhead. Inside, the space opens into a welcoming open-plan room arranged for two guests, with a comfortable double bed styled with thoughtful soft furnishings, that becomes a natural focal point during cooler months, ideal for warming the pod as the evening draws in, complemented by characterful, hand-built details crafted from woodland logs and practical self-catering essentials, including well-considered touches for hot drinks. After a walk through the surrounding countryside or time spent exploring nearby villages, guests can boil the kettle, prepare a light meal on the gas stove and enjoy an unhurried pace of life. Right next door, is a separate shower room with a walk-in shower provides a refreshing start or end to the day, laid out with practicality in mind. Outside, a private garden space encourages time spent lingering, whether enjoying a morning coffee on the garden furniture or settling in for the evening with the barbecue and fire pit, with a covered cooking area offering shelter and the fire pit providing a welcoming spot for stargazing and toasting marshmallows beneath dark night skies.
