With close by shops, pubs, beaches and scenic walks, this property is ideal for groups looking to explore the coast and countryside of Northumberland. Warkworth is a delightful riverside village offering quaint shops to browse at your leisure, selling artisan chocolate and hand-made gifts, a great selection of pubs, riverside walks towards Warkworth Medieval Bridge, and of course, tours of the impressive Warkworth Castle. From here, head over to Warkworth Beach for a day spent picnicking on the sand and paddling amongst the waves. Amble is a close by town offering shops and pubs and a pretty harbour. From here, head over to Alnwick where you can visit Alnwick Castle, local gardens, and plenty of quirky shops, including Barter Books café and book shop. The Northumberland Coast Path creates a winding track from which you can indulge in seaside views and pretty beaches, whilst the Northumberland National Park is within reach. Further afield, discover Bamburgh with its castle and beach, and beyond that, Holy Island with the renowned Lindisfarne Castle, Priory, museum about local history, and nature reserve.
