Positioned less than a 10-minute drive from the ever-popular seaside resort of Perranporth, renowned for its stunning three-mile stretch of golden sandy beach, the property is perfectly placed to attract holidaymakers seeking both tranquillity and convenient access to Cornwall’s spectacular north coast.
Each cottage is thoughtfully designed and benefits from its own private outdoor space, while guests can also enjoy the extensive communal grounds. These include mature landscaped gardens, open grassy areas, and small woodland sections, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting ideal for relaxation. An enclosed paddock provides a valuable additional feature, perfect for dog owners and enhancing the property’s appeal to a wider holiday market.
Goonhavern village amenities are within easy walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) and include a local shop with a post office, a traditional pub, and a well-regarded garden centre offering a pet shop, greengrocer, gift shops, and café. The vibrant coastal town of Perranporth lies just 2.5 miles away, offering family-friendly beaches, a range of cafés, restaurants, pubs, surf hire facilities, and a small supermarket.
The cathedral city of Truro and the bustling town of Newquay are both approximately a 15-minute drive, providing a broader selection of shopping, dining, and transport connections.
With nearby riding stables and a golf course, as well as easy access to Cornwall’s renowned coastline and countryside, this exceptional property represents a turnkey lifestyle business in a prime holiday destination.
All rooms look out on the shaded grassy gardens that surround the property. Under the trees in front of the cottage, there is a brick BBQ for the sole use of this property and garden furniture.
Dreaming of exploring Cornwall’s beautiful and dramatic north coast yet want to avoid the hustle a bustle? Choose a holiday in Goonhavern, a traditional Cornish village only two miles inland from Perranporth where you can enjoy peace and quiet.
The village itself boasts a shop where you can pick up all the essentials, a friendly pub, The New Inn, and a garden centre with a café. But no doubt you’ll be spending most of your holiday in Goonhavern discovering the stunning stretch of coastline only a few miles away.
