Nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor, less than 30 minutes from Port Isaac and Tintagel, this beautifully renovated property was once the pulpit and organ loft of a 19th-century chapel. One of two charming holiday homes converted from the original chapel, The Organ Loft sits quietly off a country lane, just outside the village of St Breward.
The village itself offers a taste of local history, with the Old Inn pub and restaurant, dating back to the 11th century and the parish church just a 10-minute walk away. Families will appreciate the nearby playground, and horse lovers can reach riding stables just over a mile away. For essentials, village stores can be found in Blisland, St Tudy, and St Mabyn.
For a wider range of amenities, the towns of Wadebridge, Camelford, and Bodmin are each around a 20-minute drive, offering shops, sports centres, and swimming pools.
The stunning North Cornwall coastline is also within easy reach, with beaches and scenic spots at Trebarwith, Tintagel, Port Isaac, and Polzeath around 10 miles away. Golf courses, extensive rural footpaths, and the Camel Trail at Wenford Bridge just two miles from the property ensure plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures.
The property is fronted by a sheltered paved patio with garden furniture which catches the sun for most of the day and at the rear, one step leads down to a service courtyard with steps and a path leading to the lane. Children and dogs will need supervision outside.
