Beautifully presented, Little Mallard is a single storey holiday home in a peaceful rural location with direct Forest access. The double aspect lounge/diner is tastefully furnished, with a wood-burner for cosy evenings in and sliding doors opening onto the rear garden. The lovely re-fitted kitchen has the advantage of a sunny garden room which is ideal for informal dining or as an additional sitting room. French doors lead onto the rear terraced area, and garden beyond. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room, and there is a further bedroom and family bathroom.
The open Forest is at the opening of the quiet no-through lane in which Little Mallard is situated, where New Forest ponies, cattle and donkeys roam free. The popular Turfcutters Arms is a short stroll away, as is Hatchet Pond from where beautiful sunsets can be viewed. Other local attractions include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and Lepe Beach & Country Park. Brockenhurst and the Georgian market town of Lymington are a short drive away.
Little Mallard is returning to holiday letting with us after a four year break, hence the gap in reviews online!
The peaceful and private rear garden has a paved terrace which can be accessed from both the lounge and kitchen garden room, with an outdoor dining table and chairs for al fresco meals and drinks, and a flat lawn bordered by pretty shrubs.
East Boldre is a lovely village in the heart of the New Forest. Surrounded by picturesque forest scenery, it's the perfect place to relax, slow down, and escape life's daily stresses.
Home to an excellent pub, The Turfcutters Arms, just 5 minutes from Beaulieu, with its famous motor museum, and Michelin star restaurant at the Montagu Arms, and only 10 minutes from the coast and the delightful bustling town of Lymington, you'll find it easy to do as little or as much as you like on your holiday.
