A visit to nearby Mottisfont Abbey, with its stunning gardens, is a must, or take a stroll along the banks of the River Test, one of the most coveted fishing rivers in Europe! Alternatively, the historic cathedral cities of both Salisbury and Winchester are well-worth a visit, or why not explore the scenic New Forest National Park, where swathes of purple heather and woodlands are home to wild ponies, cattle and deer? With so many options for interesting days out, you really are spoilt for choice on how to spend your holiday.
