The glorious sandy beaches go on forever and the spectacular cliffs offer superb views and are an ornithologists paradise! Inland, the woodlands and heather-clad moorlands of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are quite breathtaking. History buffs will be in their element as this part of the world is steeped in history, with a variety of stately homes, abbeys and castles to visit.
