The cottage feels warm, welcoming and is beautifully presented. The character features including a large inglenook fireplace and oak beams throughout remind you of its age, and the modern touches of the range cooker, Smart TV and WiFi access, make it a high quality property. The cosy kitchen leads through to the dining area, a sociable area for family mealtimes and the patio doors mean that on fine evenings it is a joy to spread into the pretty garden for drinks, relaxing and listening to the birds. The night skies on Exmoor are a magical show of stars as it was designated the first Dark Sky Reserve in Europe. After a bit of stargazing, a night in front of the woodburner will warm you ready for a comfy night. On the ground floor there is an additional snug with woodburner and sofa bed, ideal for teenagers or anyone wanting to avoid the stairs, and there is a ground floor shower room for their convenience.
