    More Information

Valley View Lodge is a spacious, immaculately-presented wooden lodge set next to a working livestock and arable farm, approximately 2.5 miles from the popular town of Welshpool. The lodge is set high up the valley to take advantage of the fantastic views and has been attractively furnished throughout, in keeping with the rustic style of the lodge. The cottage is ideal for friends and family who wish to enjoy the local area with its many cycle routes, walks and lovely scenery, as well as places of historic interest. The lodge is all on one floor and has great views across the valley from the spacious decked area which surrounds three sides of the property. The large open plan living area has a cosy woodburning stove and comfy sofas, perfect to spend time together and make plans. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely dining area where you can enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals. From here you head into the comfortable double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Why not spend warm evenings on the patio with a drink while taking in the countryside views? Spend a day exploring the lovely market town of Welshpool, the nearby Powis Castle with its beautiful gardens or take a steam train ride on the narrow gauge railway through the Banwy Valley to Llanfair Caereinion. A visit to the old county town of Montgomery is a must, with its ancient architecture and ruined castle, as well as the popular Michelin-starred Checkers Restaurant. Travel further into Wales to experience the majestic beauty of Snowdonia National Park or visit one of the many lovely seaside towns along the Welsh coast. Cross over the border into Shropshire and the medieval county town of Shrewsbury is approximately 20 miles away, with its historic streets and buildings standing within the gentle meanderings of the River Severn. Whatever you decide to do on your days out, you can be sure of a comfortable and spacious holiday home to return to, set in lovely peaceful surroundings.
