A stunning detached cottage nestled within the grounds of the owners’ grazing land and managed livery and stable blocks, just 1.5 miles from the Flintshire village of Mostyn on the Dee Estuary in North Wales. Renovated to a high standard to maintain its original character, whilst adding modern and stylish fixtures and fittings throughout, this cottage offers a delightful luxury getaway for a couple or family. Entering into an open plan living area with cosy seating set around a woodburning stove, you will want to sit and relax straight away. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, with granite worktops affording ample workspace to prepare a sumptuous home-cooked meal to be enjoyed around the dining table, or perhaps taken outside to eat alfresco on the courtyard, whilst enjoying views across fields to the Dee. From the sitting room a short staircase leads to a half-landing and onto two separate staircases, one to a double bedroom which enjoys delightful sea views and the other to a twin room located on a minstrel’s gallery overlooking the sitting room. The ground floor family bathroom offers a walk-in shower room, with a large utility/drying room completing the accommodation. Outside this delightful stone cottage is a large, private patio area close to the modern stable block, and the owners are happy to allow use of the stables, manege and grazing on request, and with the popular cross country riding tracks at Mostyn Farm Ride close by this is an ideal location for an equine holiday. The sandy dunes of Talacre beach are reached within 10 minutes drive where you will see the famous Talacre lighthouse. Within easy reach are a couple of golf courses for the enthusiasts, whilst Forest Hill Fisheries offer trout farm fishing to fulfil the most ardent fisherman. There a 3 great pubs within 10-15 minute drive. A superb Mostyn cottage for a fantastic, memorable holiday at any time of the year.
